Focus on your numbers and you will succeed

If you want to hit your numbers, then focus on the numbers of your clients. If you can help your clients achieve the numbers they most value, then you will achieve your numbers with ease. When salespeople do it the other way around, it really isn't a secret. Prospects and clients see it, feel it, and immediately know you're working to help yourself and not them. Nothing does more to impede the sales progress than when a client feels that you're really just out for yourself.
